Smith, this diet plan is aimed at helping one lose weight and improve the overall health. The fat smash diet may sound radical in its name, but this plan is based on following a healthy principle that brings about a change from within. It involves given reformation in lifestyle and dietary habits that will only be effective when the detox phase is diligently followed.
If you are one who is all set to toss bad eating habits into the bin and wish to build healthy ones, the fat smash diet may be great for you. This diet plan spans over a period of 90 days and includes a total of four phases to attain your goal. Although this diet is believed to be safe for all, it is always better to consult your doctor, especially if you are under medication.

The four phases :

Detox

This first phase involves getting rid of the toxins and impurities in your body. These are the toxins that may be hindering your passage in your weight loss journey. This initial phase that will help in taking on the next three phases and is, thus, extremely important. The detox phase lasts for a total of nine days and requires one to only eat produce like vegetables and fruits. Foods such as fish, meat, and other unhealthy processed foods must be dropped.

Foundation

After the nine days of eating fruits and vegetables, the foundation phase lets you loosen up. You can now have limited portions of meats, fish, alcohol, and healthy fats. One is also required to exercise for a longer while.

Construction

In this phase, more foods are added to the diet; however, all are in proportion. It is meant to sharpen your focus on portion control.

Temple

This is the final phase. The temple phase involves adding more foods to your diet. You also have to work toward bringing your diet on track and resolving any slip-up if you had any.

The plan may seem extremely rigorous, but such is not the case. You begin the fat smash diet on a strict note, but it becomes easier to follow in the later stages. Once you take on the diet for 90 days, it works toward helping you adapt better habits that will last for an extended period. Most people who have taken on the fat smash diet admit to the fact that the first nine days are the most difficult as it involves a big change. Furthermore, consuming home-cooked meals is the best way to follow the fat smash diet, but you can also buy ready-made foods.

Following the diet to the T will provide good results post the 90-day plan. For people who dine out on several occasions, the fat smash diet can be very difficult to follow as it is not flexible. The key to getting this diet plan right is “listening to the body.” Do not continue with it if you begin to see alarming effects.
